Here at the Learning Academy we celebrate diversity in every way. We understand that no one child is alike, they come from different cultures, backgrounds and all learn in their own way. In observance of Black History Month we would like to celebrate Marian Wright Edelman. She is an African American activist for children’s rights. She has been an advocate for disadvantaged Americans for her entire professional life. She is founder and president Emerita of the Children’s Defense Fund. “Education is for improving the lives of others and for leaving your community and world better than you found it” ~ Marian Wright Edelman Visit here to schedule a tour and find out more.
