We’re excited to welcome 2026 and begin a fresh year of learning, growth, and connection with our TLA families. January brings a few important reminders, some fun activities for our students, and a couple of calendar notes to keep in mind.
📅 January Closures
The Learning Academy will be closed on the following days:
Wednesday, January 1 – New Year’s Day
Monday, January 19 – Martin Luther King Jr. Day
💛 Kindness Challenge & Spirit Week: January 19–23
We’re looking forward to our Kindness Challenge Week, where students will take part in simple, meaningful ways to show care for one another. Families are invited to join the fun with our daily spirit themes:
Monday: Closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Tuesday: Dreaming of a Kind World – Pajama Day
Wednesday: Shine Bright with Kindness – Wear bright colors
Thursday: Hunting for Kindness – Wear camo
Friday: Hats Off to Kindness – Wear a hat
Spirit week is a fun way to recognize and celebrate each and every member of our learning community, and we are excited to see how each day can bring us together!
✅Annual Activity Fee Reminder
The $75 annual activity fee per child will be charged on January 15, 2026. This fee supports special activities and experiences throughout the year. (Families who enrolled in November or December will not be charged.)

We’re happy to share that Ms. Chyna, Ms. Debbie, and Ms. Kenzie have permanently joined our TLA team!

📚 Program Updates & New Menu
Lotts of Tails Story Time will continue this year on the second Thursday of each month.
Our updated food menu for Q1 2026 is now available. Take a look below and print if you wish.
📣 Enrollment Update
We are currently enrolling school-age students (6 weeks–school age) with private pay and TXX options available. Please reach out if you or someone you know would like more information.
